Fantastic seascape

Height x width x depth: 51 x 44 x 23 cm
made of natural elements and decorative figures arranged on a base that imitates a rocky outcrop. In the center is a large branch of mammiferoid coral (Acropora sp.), on the left is an elegant branch of light calcareous coral, probably a fossil madrepora, while on the front left is a fragment of Mediterranean red coral (Corallium rubrum) framing a small female figure, and on the right side is another coral element, a Finger Coral (Porites). Among the artificial rocks, several sculptures representing animals and mythological figures emerge, a typical homage to the tradition of 17th-century chambers of wonders.
