Fantastic seascape

made up of natural elements and decorative figures arranged on a base that imitates a rocky outcrop, which in turn rests on a rectangular base with circular golden feet. The dominant recurring motif is Mediterranean red coral (Corallium rubrum), distributed over several levels. Among these, at the center of the scene, a larger specimen of red coral is mounted on an elegant turned support that emphasizes its ornamental value and elevates it as the focal point of the composition. At the base, scattered among the crevices, various ornamental animals are visible, such as snakes, lizards, and small figures, which reflect the naturalistic and symbolic iconography typical of 17th-century cabinets of curiosities.
