Four italian silver boxes, Turin, 1698 - 1793

Total weight: 1285 g
cylindrical in shape and of various sizes. The bodies of the boxes have a golden finish, with horizontal striations and reinforcement rings on the base. The domed lids feature a finely engraved decoration (a monogram or cartouche).

The lots bear the marks of: Taster Carlo Scarpa (1759-1778), Countermarker (second inspector) Giovan Battista Carron (1753-1778), silversmith Fino Giovanni (1762-1791). The silver objects, with a fineness of 11 Denari, were therefore made between 1762 and 1778.
