Ivory and gold wax seal, France, 19th century

Total weight: 67.5 g
The handle is turned in an elongated cylindrical shape with a smooth surface that develops vertically, enhanced at the lower part by a series of concentric rings that give rhythm and momentum to the structure.

The seal is engraved on a jasper stone. The matrix bears a heraldic coat of arms depicting a shield supported by two rampant lions and surmounted by a crown, a clear symbol of nobility.
