"The Apple Picker"

diameter 66 x 5cm
Polychrome ceramic ceremonial plate with metallic luster. Smooth plate with a beaded rim and a double ring foot. Decorated with graffito relief on pale straw and ivory glaze on a red background. On the reverse, in blue underglaze, Faenza Reggia Scuola with the number 105 and inventory no. 203. Most likely made by Melisenda Lama based on a design by Domenico Rambelli. The plate was exhibited at the Milan Triennale in 1933.
