A pair of large carved and gilded wooden consoles with Louis XVI-style marble tops, 19th century
an important pair of wall-mounted consoles, characterized by an architectural structure with six front and rear legs, richly carved with foliage motifs, volutes, and cartouches. The lower band is decorated with a lozenge pattern and central medallions featuring a classical profile of a male head. The top is made of shaped marble.
This lot is currently in storage in Rome with the owner.
