Gilded bronze table clock Empire period, France, early 19th century

Height x width x depth: 22 x 16 x 12 cm
architecturally shaped with an arched top surmounted by a finely chased handle. Decorated with classical motifs in the Empire style, including a female head within garlands, floral friezes, and side appliqués in the form of a musical trophy with a lyre. Circular white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and “chemin de fer” minute track, signed Courvoisier & Compagnie. Openwork burnished steel hands.
