Pair of Louis XV-style side tables in carved and gilded wood, Central Italy, first half of 19th century
characterized by a dynamic structure with strongly sinuous legs and rich rocaille decoration. The front is centered by a prominent cartouche bearing a coat of arms surmounted by a crown and an eagle with outstretched wings, flanked by volutes and plant motifs. The base band is openwork and highly ornamented. The top is made of contemporary shaped marble.
