Art Deco double clip platinum and diamond brooch, 1930s

Platinum brooch with a ribbon swirl motif, embellished with diamond pave set.   

N. 02 transitional modern brilliant-cut diamonds set in prongs, each weighing approx. 0.25 carats, colour F-G, clarity VVS-VS;
N. 178 additional diamond in different shapes and cuts, such as huit-huit cut, brilliant cut, and baguette cut, with a total approximate weight of 5.20 ct, colour F-G, clarity VVS-VS. 

The stylised ribbon design can be detached and separated into two individual clip brooches, using a removable 18k white gold frame on the back. The brooch as a whole is secured with a hinged pin clasp on the back of the removable frame, while once separated, the brooches can be secured with a hinged clip clasp.
