Portrait of Odoardo Farnese (1612–1646), Duke of Parma and Piacenza
Oil on canvas
cm. 71x56. Framed
In this austere and noble portrait we recognize the unmistakable physiognomy of Odoardo Farnese, with his pronounced corpulence, also thanks to comparison with two portraits, both preserved in Parma, respectively in the Galleria Nazionale della Pilotta and the Museo Glauco Lombardi.
