Bust of Christ carved from walnut, Italy, 17th–18th centuries

Height x width x depth: 22 x 10 x 8 cm
The face features half-closed eyes looking upward and a slightly parted mouth, in keeping with the traditional iconography of the suffering Christ. It is likely part of a crucifix, as suggested by the protruding pins where the arms are missing, and rests on a base.
