Pair of carved and gilded oval mirrors, France, 19th century
Height x width x depth: 110 x 86 x 14 cm
In the Louis XVI style, the frames are topped by ornate cornices shaped like a knotted ribbon (a “love bow”). The two mirrors appear in several scenes from the Gomorra II and III series.Mirrors replaced.
