set at the centre is an exquisitely fine miniature on a plaque depicting the Madonna and Child, rendered in grisaille. The oval outer frame features an inner border in yellow gold, finely chiselled with a beaded pattern. The thick outer band is crafted from silver, hand-engraved using the classic Buccellati ‘rigato’ or ‘rigatino’ engraving technique.
On the reverse, the silver structure features an upper swivel ring so that the piece can be worn as a pendant. It also has a fold-out rear stand with a wing-like support for resting it on a table.


The piece is complemented by its accessories: a fold-out, slanted stand upholstered in elegant beige velvet and a soft case in beige suede fabric with a fastening.
