Italian solid silver tea and coffee set, 1935-1945

Total weight: 2801 g
composed of four pieces, finely decorated with intricate reliefs depicting bunches of grapes, foliage and scrollwork:
- coffee pot: with a slender, balustrade-style body resting on a circular base, a hinged lid, an integrated spout and a handle with a curved loop featuring heat-insulating rings;
- teapot: with a globular, bulbous body, a curved loop handle, a hinged lid and a shaped spout;
- sugar bowl: with a spherical body, two curved loop handles on either side and a slip-on lid;
- milk jug: a slender balustrade-style jug with a wide, outward-curving spout and a tall curved loop handle.

800/1000 silver, hallmarked "800 – 48 MI", silversmith Arno Fassi, Milan.
