Italian solid silver tray, mid-20th Century

Height x width: 67 x 36 cm. Weight: 2233 g
oval in shape, characterised by elegant craftsmanship in the neoclassical style. The rim is framed by a refined godron pattern, finely chiselled with small palmette motifs running all the way round the edge. On either side are two handles featuring scroll and acanthus leaf motifs.

800/1000 silver, hallmarked "800 - 41 MI - Faccioli", silversmith Fratelli Leone, Milan.
