Italian solid silver basket, mid-20th Century

Height x width x depth: 21 x 28.5 x 15 cm. Weight: 525 g
oval in shape, characterised by an undulating profile with a beaded rim. The side walls feature openwork with scroll motifs. Topped by a tall, fixed arched handle, also embellished with a double beaded rim. It rests on a solid, stepped circular foot.

800/1000 silver, hallmarked "800 – 25 AL".
