Italian solid silver candlestick, early XX century

Height x width x depth: 32.5 x 11.5 x 9 cm. Weight: 1650 g
cast in fusion. It rests on a circular base from which rises a female figure in classical dress; in her right hand she holds a sickle, whilst with her left she raises a sheaf of wheat, symbolising the harvest and abundance. Resting on the figure’s head is a vase-shaped candle holder with a drip tray.

The base bears the inscription "Martini Collection".
