Sterling silver English vase, Sheffield, 1912-1913

Height x width: 25.5 x 7 cm. Weight: 253 g
shaped like a tapered amphora, narrowing towards the bottom and joining a flared neck. The upper rim of the mouth is adorned with an elegant openwork balustrade frieze. The body rests on a foot with a stepped square base.

Sterling silver, fully hallmarked Sheffield 1912-1913, silversmith Joseph Rodgers & Sons.
