The LEGO Group

59.8 x 47.5 x 9 cm

A blue locomotive, three freight wagons and a working cargo yard give this 871-piece set with 4 minifigures the bustle of a busy railway terminal. Its motorised train uses a seven-speed infrared remote, while the crane and forklift keep goods moving between road and rail.

Among the industrial loads is an unexpected passenger: a dairy cow, travelling in its own cattle wagon alongside milk containers. This small countryside connection gives the train a story beyond hauling anonymous cargo, linking farms with the wider LEGO city. Retired in 2018, Cargo Train offers collectors a substantial example of LEGO’s Power Functions railway era, with varied rolling stock and a complete track circuit.
