Food stalls, traditional crafts and family gatherings fill this 1,608–piece celebration of a Chinese New Year temple fair. Fourteen figures, including a baby, populate the scene, giving the ornate temple entrance the atmosphere of a busy festive meeting place.

The most revealing details are on the stalls: alongside barbecue food and sweets are vases, toys and dough figurines, reflecting the mixture of shopping, eating and craftsmanship associated with the occasion. These miniature objects give the model a cultural specificity beyond its decorative architecture. Within LEGO’s Chinese Festivals collection, Temple Fair offers a particularly rich street scene, where the celebrations emerge through everyday encounters and carefully chosen accessories.
