LEGO Store & VIP Collection – Two–Set Lot, 2015 – 2017

The experience of shopping for LEGO becomes the subject of this promotional pairing. LEGO Store recreates the shop itself, while Iconic VIP Set combines a miniature store interior with a brick-built VIP card—a souvenir of the loyalty programme familiar to generations of collectors.

The VIP card features an entirely red minifigure, translating the programme’s graphic identity into an actual LEGO character. The two releases also celebrate different shopping occasions: 40145 was distributed at LEGO Store grand openings, while 40178 accompanied qualifying VIP purchases. Their promotional origins give this retired pairing particular appeal for collectors of store memorabilia and LEGO’s own brand history.
