Moving beyond tradition, the new department follows the evolution of market demands and collecting habits, filling a gap in the Italian scene with a larger representation of artists regarded as outsiders, as well as avant-garde art such as digital works and NFT.
The impressive growth of this sector over the last few decades, especially in the Anglo-Saxon and US markets, has made it essential to reconsider contemporary artists and art practices in relation to the current investment market.
The department was pleased to bring both well-known and established artists, such as Sbagliato and Edoardo Tresoldi, and lesser-known artists, such as Giorgia Grassi and Marco Casalvieri, into the auction world.
