Both pieces feature a circular base and a slender, bulbous form in the center.
First Piece
Decorated with floral swags, fitted with a pierced insert-lid and a spinning-top finial.
Sterling silver, fully hallmarked with the marks used in London from 1767-68, and bearing the mark of silversmiths Jabez Daniell & James Mince.
Height x Diameter: 18 ร 7 cm.
Second Piece
Adorned with twisted decoration, fitted with a pierced insert-lid and a flame finial.
925/1000 silver, hallmarked with the marks used in London in 1762-63, and bearing the mark of silversmith Robert Peaston.
Height x Diameter: 17.6 ร 6 cm.
