Oil on canvas, 50 x 45 cm, created in 1972 by Lucio Battisti (Poggio Bustone, March 5, 1943 – Milan, September 9, 1998) and titled UNA GIORNATA UGGIOSA.

It is part of a series of original works by Battisti, who was certainly less well-known as a painter, but which reveals his remarkable skill and creative intuition for the world of figurative art. It is certainly a wonderful discovery for collectors and fans of the singer-songwriter.

A heavy, driving, windy rain, a landscape without boundaries, timeless. Everything is the same, repetitive, a soft, faded gray-pink glow, but sufficient to illuminate and make way for the rainbow that will break the monotony of this "slice of eternity."
