To be bound. In folio (approx. 455 x 287 mm). 17 plates: a beautiful figurative frontispiece with title, two plates with text (note to the reader and index), and 14 plates depicting skeletons in academic poses, engraved by Jacques Gabriel Huquier (1695-1772) from drawings by Bouchardon.
Printed on laid paper with watermark. The pages are slightly browned, with some stains and light waterlogging. The index has a loss in the center. Plate no. 3 has a loss along the entire right margin, restored. Plate no. 7 has a small loss in the right margin, reassembled. Overall in good condition.
