Louis XVI style dessert cabinet, Paris, 19th century

Height x width x depth: 150 x 113 x 42 cm.
“dessert” cabinet in veneered wood, with floral marquetry featuring vase motifs with flowers on a geometric background in rosewood (Dalberga spp.) and violet wood (Dalbergia cearensis, Ducke, 1925) . The upper section has a decorated central door flanked by two open compartments with mirrors and marble shelves edged with gilded bronze railings. Shaped breccia marble top. Fluted and inlaid legs, base with geometric reserves, maple threading, and gilded bronze finishes. Branded on the lining and top by the Maison.
This lot is accompanied by an expertise issued by Ce.S.Ar Centro studi archeometrici.
