Nautilus mounted on brass base, Europe, 19th century

Height x width x depth: 26 x 15 x 8 cm. Weight: 970 g
embellished on the sides with glass paste inlays. A finely modelled winged animal, probably a swan, stands on the base. A circular element is inserted on top of this, on which the shell is set. Along the edge of the nautilus are decorative elements in perforated brass, enriched with additional glass paste, in stylistic continuity with the base.
