Height x width x depth: 14 x 7.5 x 5.5 cm. Box dimensions: 15 x 8 x 6 cm
Gilded bronze case finely engraved with scroll-like floral motifs, featuring an engraved dial with Roman numerals. Hand-wound movement with a platform escapement. Features a striking mechanism. Complete with its original case (in used condition). Based on its construction, the quality of the engravings, and its stylistic features, this piece can be attributed to the Samson workshop, which was active in Paris during the second half of the 19th century.
