Sterling silver English vase, Birmingham, 1900-1901
Height × diameter: 9.5 × 11.5 cm. Weight: 127 g
rounded body with a flared, undulating upper rim. The surface is embellished with a refined relief decoration consisting of deep vertical grooves running the length of the vase. On the front is a large smooth panel, framed by elegant volutes and plant motifs, probably intended to accommodate an engraving.
Sterling silver, fully hallmarked Birmingham, 1900-1901, silversmiths Barker Brothers.
