Italian solid silver coffee set, mid-20th Century

Total weight: 2007 g
comprising three pieces:
- coffee pot: the ovoid body, resting on a tall circular foot, features a spout shaped like the head of a mythical, majestic creature; a handle with a curved loop and a heat-insulating bone insert; and a lid topped with a pine-cone-shaped knob;
- sugar bowl: a vase-shaped body set on a tall foot, featuring two large handles with raised loops and plant-inspired details, and a slip-on lid with a pine-cone knob;
- milk jug: jug-shaped with an outward-curving upper rim, a prominent spout and a handle with a curved loop.
The lower part of the body of all three pieces is finely embossed with a band of palmettes arranged in a radial pattern.

800/1000 silver, hallmarked "800 – MI 41 - Faccioli", siversmith Fratelli Leone, Milano, reseller Faccioli.
