Arched windows, an ornate chandelier and a lockable vault give this 2,360-piece bank with 5 minifigures an air of respectability. The neighbouring laundromat, however, hides the building’s best joke: feed money into one of its washing machines and it drops into the bank’s vault—a literal LEGO interpretation of “money laundering”.

This concealed connection turns two contrasting businesses into one cleverly integrated build. A corner entry in the Modular Buildings collection, Brick Bank combines formal architecture with the mischievous storytelling that gives the street its personality. Retired in 2018 after roughly three years on sale, it offers collectors a memorable addition with more going on than its respectable façade suggests.
