The LEGO Group

39 x 26 x 7 cm

Fan designer Jake Sadovich took inspiration from a real ship in a bottle he had built years earlier, recreating the maritime tradition entirely in LEGO. His idea became this 962–piece display, enclosing the three–masted Leviathan inside a transparent brick–built bottle, complete with a cork and wax–style seal.

One unusually satisfying building step creates the sea: over 280 loose translucent–blue elements fill the bottom of the bottle around the ship. Cannons, printed sails and a display stand decorated with globes and a compass complete the nautical scene. Now retired, this original 2018 release is signed by Jake Sadovich himself, giving this example a personal connection to the fan designer whose idea brought the model to life.
