Pirates and blue-coated soldiers take their rivalry onto the chessboard in this 776-piece set with 20 minifigures. Building the board and assembling its 32 playing pieces becomes the opening activity before the first strategic move is made.

Released alongside LEGO’s 2015 Pirates revival, the set gives that familiar conflict a different set of rules: opposing crews advance across a beach-themed board, with minifigures and brick-built models taking the traditional chess roles. The characters remain ready for adventures beyond the board between matches. Now retired, Pirates Chess offers collectors a substantial gathering of pirate-era figures and a playable centrepiece that brings construction and strategy together.
