The LEGO Group

23 x 14.5 x 3.9 cm

Blue and grey wings, a transparent yellow cockpit and the planet-and-spaceship emblem: few combinations capture LEGO nostalgia quite like early Classic Space. Released in 1979, this compact spacecraft brings that unmistakable identity together in 82 pieces with one astronaut.

Known in contemporary catalogues as the “One Man Space Ship”, 918 was the smallest companion to the larger 924 and 928 spacecraft, sharing their distinctive appearance in a personal exploration craft. Together, these ships helped establish the visual identity that collectors still associate with Classic Space. Now more than forty-five years old and long retired, this complete example offers a direct connection to the pioneering years of one of LEGO’s most enduring themes.
