The LEGO Group

46 x 29 x 6 cm

For generations of builders, this is the definitive LEGO spaceship. Its broad blue-and-grey wings, yellow cockpit and LL928 markings embody the appeal of Classic Space: an imagined future of astronauts, lunar outposts and discovery. Released in 1979, this 318-piece set with 4 minifigures remains a centrepiece of the original Space fleet.

Its place in LEGO history was recognised in 2022, when the Galaxy Explorer was reimagined for the company’s 90th anniversary. This example preserves the original experience through its remarkably well-kept outer box and surviving inner box, although the latter is damaged. More than forty-five years after release, that combination of an iconic model and beautifully preserved packaging gives it particular collector appeal.

Used, complete. Some pieces show age-related yellowing. Outer box in excellent condition; original inner box included, with damage.
