Exhibitions

Roberto Donatelli made his debut in the mid-1970s with a personal exhibition at the Galleria Colonna in Naples. This was followed in the 1980s by a solo exhibition at the Di Sarro Centre in Rome with a text in the catalogue by Vitaliano Corbi entitled 'Nero napoletano' (Neapolitan black) and at the Pinacoteca and Musei Comunali in Macerata; the latter entitled 'Tra visionarietà ed erotismo' (Between visionary and eroticism) presented by Enrico Crispolti. In 1988, on the occasion of his personal exhibition at the Galleria Oggetto in Caserta, the volume "Colori e segni" from the "Strumenti" series was presented with an introductory essay by Massimo Bignardi. In 1990 in Sorrento "La giovane pittura Italiana" international meetings and in Spoleto at the "Festival dei Due Mondi" at the Galleria Libero Spazio "Territori" with a presentation in the catalogue by E. Battarra. From 1992 to 1996 he was active in Denmark with four personal exhibitions in Danish museums and art galleries: Gallery Ylland Spiald, Sonderjyllands Kunts-og Kultuecente, Gallery Langaa Raadhus, Kommune Langaa Kultuecente.
