Six altar candlesticks, Lombardy, 17th-18th century
Bronze with natural patina
45 x 14 x 14 cm
Rare group of bronze altar candlesticks. The large butterfly-form screw which locks the pieces of candlesticks in the lower part is a sign of authenticity of the artworks, of which many replicas were made between the 19th and 20th centuries both for church purposes and for the production of households lamps.
The contained dimensions, the elegant turning and the splendid natural patina make the set composed of six candlesticks an interesting piece of furniture
