Fan designer Jake Sadovich took inspiration from a real ship in a bottle he had built years earlier, recreating the maritime tradition entirely in LEGO. His idea became this 962-piece display, enclosing the three-masted Leviathan inside a transparent brick-built bottle, complete with a cork and wax-style seal.

One unusually satisfying building step creates the sea: over 280 loose translucent-blue elements fill the bottom of the bottle around the ship. Cannons, printed sails and a display stand decorated with globes and a compass complete the nautical scene. Now retired, this original 2018 release offers collectors a distinctive meeting of traditional craftsmanship and inventive LEGO construction.
