- 13:00 CEST on 15 October 2026 for lots 589-1161;

You may:
- place online bids on www.bertolamifineart.com or via our partner portals Bidinside and OneBid.
- submit absentee bids as outlined in Section 1 b.

The minimum bid for each lot corresponds to the starting price indicated in the online catalogue.

In the event of:
- One single pre-auction bid on a lot
In the absence of additional bids during the auction, the lot will be awarded at the starting price even if the sole bid received is higher (the pre-auction bid represents the maximum amount the bidder is willing to pay).
Example: Starting price € 1,000 – Single pre-auction bid € 1,500 – Lot awarded at € 1,000

- Multiple pre-auction bids of the same amount on the same lot
In the absence of additional bids during the auction, the lot will be awarded to the earlier bidder.

- Multiple pre-auction bids of the same amount on the same lot submitted via different portals
In the absence of additional bids during the auction, if bids of the same amount have been placed through different portals, the lot will be awarded to the bidder who placed the bid on www.bertolamifineart.com, even if this bid was submitted after those placed on the partner portal Bidinside.

- Multiple pre-auction bids of different amounts on the same lot
In the absence of additional bids during the auction, the lot will be awarded to the highest pre-auction bidder. The hammer price will be calculated by adding a predetermined increment, as set out in the table below (Table A), to the amount of the next lowest bid.
Example: Bidder A €1,270, Bidder B €1,800. Bidder B wins, not at €1,800, but at €1,370. The automatic increment of €100 for bids within the €1,000–1,999 range is applied to the immediately lower bid.

3. Payment
Successful bidders may choose from the following payment methods:

6. Authenticity
Bertolami Fine Art guarantees the authenticity of all coins offered in this auction, in line with its well-established reputation for accuracy and professional integrity. This guarantee is unlimited in duration. In addition, any potential errors in attribution or assessment are covered by a Lloyd’s Errors & Omissions insurance policy.

Certificates of authenticity may be issued upon request for any coin purchased at auction.

Any challenges to authenticity must be accompanied by a detailed report issued by an independent expert of recognised academic or scientific standing, clearly stating the reasons for the assessment and including any relevant diagnostic analysis. 7. Lot Description
Acting as an agent on behalf of the seller, Bertolami Fine Art s.r.l. accepts no responsibility for the origin, descriptions, or valuations of the lots included in the catalogue, condition reports, or any other illustrative material. All such descriptions are purely indicative and should be regarded as the personal opinions of our experts.

8. Issuance of the Certificate of Free Circulation or other ministerial authorisation
The delivery of lots outside Italian borders may be subject to the regulations set forth by the Cultural Heritage Code (Legislative Decree 42/2004 and subsequent amendments) regarding the export of goods of cultural interest. Therefore, should the purchased item possess characteristics requiring any form of ministerial authorisation for its permanent exit from the territory of the Italian Republic, the issuance timeframe for such authorisation will be regulated by the Export Office for Antiquities and Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture.
These processing times are, on average, estimated at around 60 to 90 days from the day the application is opened for a Certificate of Free Circulation (Art. 68 of the Cultural Heritage Code) and 30 days for a Self-Declaration (Autocertificazione). The auction house disclaims any responsibility for potential delays in processing times, which are solely attributable to the competent ministerial authorities. The procedure will be initiated only upon receipt of payment for the item and following explicit authorisation from the purchaser.

9. Terms and Conditions of Sale
The full Terms and Conditions of Sale governing the relationship between Bertolami Fine Art and its clients are published in every catalogue.
Participation in the auction implies full acceptance of these terms, therefore we strongly advise all clients to read them carefully.
In case of any discrepancy between the printed and the online catalogue, the online version shall prevail.

10. Publication of Auction Results
Auction results will be published for information purposes on www.bertolamifineart.com within ten (10) days of the auction’s conclusion.
